Community Development Department

 

The Community Development Department is committed to providing a high level of professional planning and building services to the public, development community, the Mayor and City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission and other City departments.  

 

It is our goal to serve the needs of these important stakeholders in a responsive and timely manner. Primary responsibilities include current, long-range and special project planning. Additionally, the Department implements the functions of code enforcement, building permit review, and economic development. Being proactive in public outreach mandates we ensure the community stays informed and highly involved in all decision-making processes.
