Parking

Within the city limits of Sun Valley, there is no parking allowed on any City streets, unless indicated by parking signs erected by the City as a designated parking area.

Homeowners can allow social guests to park for less than 5 hours, as long as the parked vehicles leave at least 18-feet of paved width of the roadway for moving traffic.

Citizens are encouraged to contact the Police Department on (208) 622-5345 when they plan to have a social event, major building and landscaping work that may involve extensive and prolong parking.

Any vehicle illegally parked is subject to removal by order of the Police Department. The owner of the vehicle shall be responsible for all towing costs.
